as far favourite players go, i'll have to start with pat metheny, who is one of my favourite musicians. he has transcended the limitations of his primary instrument, the guitar, as obvious from his compositions. another favourite guitar player is john abercrombie. similar in spirits, and is one of the best 'free jazz' players around. one of the most talented young jazz players are brad mehldau on the piano and chris potter on the saxophone.

it started with the brunette. i spotted her my first week at Purdue and wanted it very badly. went out and hit it up the next day. thus began a crazy love affair that lasted a few years until i met the redhead and went all over that one. i sorta became distant with the brunette and started to spend more and more time with the redhead. i even left the brunette behind when i went to Texas for a summer.

when i moved to Berkeley i thought i deserved another one and went with the blond this time. and all was good but i still didn't pay nearly enough attention to the brunette.

recently i rediscovered the brunette again, and took her to the shop to get tuned up.

i hope by now you realize that i'm just talking about my guitars.
